There are a handful of vaccinations that are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics. These immunizations are designed to keep children healthy at all different stages by preventing diseases such as polio, rotavirus, chicken pox, mumps, HPV, pneumococcal, rubella, hepatitis, tetanus, measles, and whooping cough. At our Irvine pediatrics center, you can expect Dr. Shadab to approach vaccinations with a gentle care in order to keep kids comfortable. Many vaccinations are required for children to go to school, especially public school, in California. It is uncommon for the babies and children who receive vaccinations at our office to experience any problems, but some can result in a minor fever or redness of the skin. Our medical team will help you determine the vaccination schedule for your child and the ways that you can keep him or her comfortable.
